Hi, I'm Sophie. I live in Brighton and I am a freelance journalist and Social Media Editor at Crack.

I have written for Vogue, i-D, Dazed, The Face, Teen Vogue, Vice, NME, Love, W Magazine, Refinery29, Hunger, Lit Hub, 1 Granary, Polyester, Little White Lies, SLEEK, Clash, The Forty-Five, GOAT, METAL and more. 

 

I previously worked as Fashion Editor at Woo by ITV. In 2018 I completed a first class undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Sheffield before going on to attain an MA in Fashion Journalism with distinction at Central Saint Martins. I was the recipient of the inaugural Hugo Boss Scholarship for Fashion Communication 2019. I have been working as a freelance writer since December 2019.

I co-founded and edit Fourteen Zine, an online zine publishing art and writing about growing up, coming of age and nostalgia. Email fourteenzine@outlook.com to submit your work. 

In addition to journalism, I have professional experience in social media strategy, digital marketing and copywriting. I have worked for clients including MCQ, University of Arts London, Temperley, Hayley Menzies, MAI Productions and NEOUS.
